LEADER is a European grant scheme with additional funding from the Scottish Government. Forth Valley & Lomond is the Stirling based local action groups which awards grants to projects that support the delivery of a Local Development Strategy. fvl.org.uk is a site that has a main goal of helping the forth valley community apply for grants because of this the site needs to be informative and welcoming at the same time.

For fvl.org.uk we decided to go for a bright, bold and colourful design basis. We felt this would be appealing and easy to digest for the attended audience of the site and allow the needed information to be efficiently conveyed. To achieve these design effects we went for thick gutters, bold and uppercase text, big and noticeable buttons and plenty of spacing around text. For colours we mixed Persian Green with a seaBuckthorn to create a website that followed the logo design. The site is full accessible and conforms to WIA 2.1 specifications scoring AAA across the site.
